Associate Director, Asian Art

Harry Huang

Harry Huang is an Associate Director of Asian Art at Clars where he heads the department.

With over a decade of experience in the auction industry, Harry was previously the Head of Asian Art at Michaan’s Auctions and Fine Estate Inc. He spearheaded the department for both companies by successfully conducting monthly auctions as well as numerous Asian Art specific auctions with tremendous results. Some of the highlights from his previous tenures include a rare and magnificent Chinese soapstone carving (sold for $2.35 million in June 2013) and Fu Baoshi’s Lady and Bamboo (sold for $1.4 million in June 2015). Harry holds a Master of Letters degree in Art History of China from Christie’s Education, London accredited by the University of Glasgow. He is also fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese.

Coordinator, Asian Art

Megan Ma

Megan Ma is the Asian Art Coordinator at Clars where she coordinates consignments, manages Asian monthly sales, and provides pre-sale and post-sale assistance to consignors and buyers.

Prior to joining Clars, Megan began her career path in the Asian Art arena from her internship at the Collection Department of the National Art Museum of China, and then she proceeded to the auction world working at Concept Art Gallery in Pittsburgh. Megan gained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey, and her Master of Arts Management degree from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She is also fluent in Mandarin.
