  4. Bid in Timed Auctions

    5. Timed auctions run for a defined amount of time, typically a few days or weeks. This allows bidders to register and place one or more bids on lots of interest until the last day listed.

  5. Telephone Bid

    6. Because of phone and staff limitations, phone bidders must be willing to place an opening bid of at least five hundred dollars ($500) on any item.

*A buyer’s premium will be added to the successful bid price at a rate equal to 26% of the first $500,000 of the bid price, 20% of the bid price on any amount between $500,001 and $1,000,000, and 10% of the bid price on anything above $1,000,000. (For those who bid through the internet, there is a 2% surcharge for Clars Online Bidding or 5% for all other bidding platforms), plus any applicable sales tax.
